Held from 20 - 22 July 2017, the 5th edition of the annual event surpassed expectations with robust exhibitor and visitor participation, drawing more than 1000 visitors across three days. The event attracted a strong lineup of delegations from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Italy, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, United Kingdom, USA and Sri Lanka.
On 20th July 2017, a Pre-congress Live Endoscopy Workshop was conducted at the Gastroenterology and Herpetology Unit – National Hospital of Sri Lanka where the FujiFilm’s new generation endoscopy system, the 7000 system was used to perform clinical cases.
The live cast of the procedures were telecasted at the ClinMARC Auditorium where Fujifilm products were advertised in both AV and print form. The presence of Fujifilm representatives Ms. Sharon Lua, Mr. Sheik Zulkarnein and Fujifilm sponsored renowned Gastroenterologist Prof. Tiing Leong Ang, throughout the pre-congress event assisted in reaffirming Premium International’s and Fujifilm’s strong relationship with the SLSG.
The industry sponsored breakfast lecture by Prof. Tiing Leong Ang, on “Image enhanced endoscopy in early detection of gastric carcinoma” was conducted on the 21st July at the congress venue.
An audience of 40 delegates and key hospital staff participated in the lecture, of which 18 were senior consultants and the rest comprising of senior registrars and registrars. The session was well received and the SLSG expressed its thanks to Premium International and Fujifilm for the contribution.
Premium International (Pvt) Limited had acquired the largest exhibition booth at the event to display Fujifilm systems and as a platform to officially launch the 7000 system in Srilanka. Fujifilm series including 7000 system, 4450 system, 3500 system, 700, 600 and 500 series scopes were showcased in an inviting fashion. Numerous delegates were interested in Fujifilm’s 7000 system and the 700 series Zoom scope.
Our exhibit's location and magnitude on the show floor enhanced foot traffic and the layout was conducive to traffic flow through our exhibit, leading visitors where we wanted them to go. The graphics drew attendees into our booth from a distance and allowed us to clearly convey Fujifilm’s unique selling proposition.
Premium’s Surgical Care Solutions team was able to collect qualified leads, increase brand awareness, generate media coverage, and build relationships with current clients and prospects. The metrics prove that the team along with Fujifilm’s participation achieved their goals and objectives.
